"BendNights Dot
Comedy", the long-standing originator of comedy concerts in Bend,
has brought the best comedy this city has ever seen. Below are video
highlights of some of those shows we've produced, with more on the
way. Comedy is co-produced with Morgan Preston at Solar Pig Productions.
|
| Bad Burrito (4:29) |
| Bad Burrito is a local
short film based on comic Morgan Preston's stand
up comedy and filmed by Blue Screen Video right
here in Bend. The film was first premiered in
Los Angeles at Cinespace with much acclaim and
was then added to Will Farrell's website, FunnyOrDie.com,
where it was featured as a "Hot Right Now" short.
BendNights.com's Sean McCann also had a hand
in the production of the film, alongside Director
Hans Skjersaa and actors Morgan Preston, Brett
Walkow, & Brandon Dix. |

|
| Adam Richmond (09:49) |
| This is one of our favorite
comedians we've brought to Bend. He's loud, animated,
and has a great delivery. He came to Bend on
while on his national tour, 'Sex, Jokes, and
Rock N' Roll. |
| |
|
|
| Art Krug (09:27) |
| Art
Krug has been seen on multiple Showtime series,
and has been in comedy for almost 25 years. |
| |
|
|
| Brad Williams (09:15) |
| Comedian
Brad Williams has lived a true comic Cinderella
story. Born with Achondroplastic dwarfism,
Brad would endure countless taunts and gawks
from classmates and random people on the
street. Instead of crying about it, Brad
turned to humor. He discovered that by making
jokes about his condition, he could make
other people comfortable and get laughs in
the process. He's a regular guest on the Carlos
Mencia Show on Comedy Central. |
| |
|
|
| Brett Walkow (09:48) |
| Los
Angeles comedian Brett Walkow brought the
heat to Joker's Bar & Grill, and the
place will never be the same. He's been seen
on numerous commercials, on the Playboy Channel
(clothes on, thank god), NBC's Las Vegas,
VH1, and more. The first bit on this video
is our favorite. Hilarious! Check back to
the site later to find out when we're bringing
him back to Bend. |
| |
|
|
| Chad Thornsberry (09:18) |
| Believe
it or not, this guy has done a ton of work
on BET over the last few years. Down-home
southern boy rockin' the mic. |
| |
|
|
| Claude Stewart (09:43) |
| A
national headliner and star of the international
touring trio, 'Sex, Jokes, and Rock & Roll'.
Crazy amounts of energy. This guy about
had a stroke! |
| |
|
|
| Dov Davidoff (09:39) |
| Dov
Davidoff came to Bend
and tore it up! He's known from his great
Budwiser commericals, his roles in huge movies
like 'Invinsible' and his co-starring role
on the NBC hit series, 'Raines', starring
Jeff Goldblum. |
| |
|
|
| Gabe Dinger (07:32) |
| This
is another favorite of ours. He's an new
up-and-comer, and we see great things in
his future. He rising pretty quickly up
the ladder of comedy. Expect to see him
in Bend again, for sure. |
| |
|
|
| Harrold Gomez (05:28) |
| Harrold
Gomez has been a number of TV shows, including
guest appearances on the BET Network. Hailing
from Brooklyn, NY, he came to Bend for a
great night of laughing. |
| |
|
|
| Jay London (05:28) |
| Jay London was a top
competitor on NBC's "Last Comic Standing."
London is known for his long curly hair and
bib overalls. His signature line is "You
might recognize me, I'm the fourth guy
from the left on the evolutionary chart," referring
to his slouching posture and unkept appearance.
His comedy is usually self-deprecating
and laden with quips such as "0 for
1", "This is death!" and
his trademark line, "It's almost over." |
| |
|
|
| Jeff Dye (08:54) |
| Jeff
Dye, from Portland, came to Bend for another
night of comedy. He's got a touch of Dane
Cook in him. A funny guy. Watch him in
action. |
| |
|
|
| Jen Kober (08:12) |
| Jen's
been all over TV, she now stars on her own
MySpace TV Show called "The Big Dish".
She's a hardcore comic. She'll call you out
and make an example out of you. Great show. |
| |
|
|
| Jentle Phoenix (08:35) |
| Jentle
Phoenix came with Adam Richmond and Claude
Stewart as part of the "Sex, Jokes,
and Rock & Roll"
tour. Jentle is a very energtic comedian. Kind
of reminds us a little of Nicole Sullivan from
MadTV. |
| |
|
|
| Joe Cocozello (09:32) |
| This
show was the first time we had brought
Joe in to feature. This guy was solid.
Hilarious. He won't spoon-feed the jokes
to you... You've got to use the noggin
to get some of them. |
| |
|
|
| John Caponera (08:42) |
| This
was a funny show. His whole act is based
around living life to the fullest, cause
you never know when it's your time. It was
the second time we had John in Bend, and
I'm sure we'll see him back again soon. Check
out the exclusive video. |
| |
|
|
| Kristin Key (09:09) |
| We
had a great show when Kristin Key came to
Bend. It was a packed crowd and the show was
rockin. Kristin story-telling style of comedy
had the audience in stitches. Then she broke
out the guitar to serenade us with everything
from 'Folsom Prison' to 'Live everyday like
it's St. Patrick's Day. Check out the exclusive
video. |
